Bingo was said started in the year 1530, it was called 'Lo Giuoco del Lotto D'Italia' in Italy which is enjoyed by people every Saturday. There are also said that the Germans in 1880s has their own version of the game but the Germans used it to educate children to help them learn history, spelling, and math.
By the year 1929, the game 'Beano' was brought to America. Before it was named 'bingo' it was called 'Beano' because it was played before using beans. It was first played and enjoyed in Atlanta, Georgia. Edwin Lowe a salesman from New York got to encounter the game 'Beano' when he came across with the carnival. People are playing the game, and he got curious about what was the game that they are playing. And when he goes back to New York, he invited his friends to try and play the game. Then, in some time of the game, a woman completed the patter and shouted “Bingo” accidentally. And it was said that Lowe got a math professor from Columbia University, Carl Leffler, to help him to add some number combination to bingo cards. And it was believed that in 1930, Leffler has made 6,000 different variation of bingo cards and after that Leffler believed got insane.
A church in Pennsylvania also use bingo as the way of getting and raising funds. And after that the church use bingo, it became popular and spread like a wildfire in the forest.
