Let's Start With The Casino

For many of us, when we encounter the word 'casino' the first thing that comes into our mind is gambling or gamblers, and betting money to win bigger cash. And in wikipedia casino is describe as “A casino is a facility that houses and accomodates certain types of gambling activities. Casinos are most commonly built near or combined with hotels, restaurants, retail shopping, cruise ships and other tourist attractions.” But what is really casino means?

The word 'casino' comes from the meaning of summerhouse or pavilion built for pleasure, a small villa that is normally on the ground of a Italian villa or palazzo and Villa Guilia and Villa Farnese have these kind of casinos.


Even before people are hooked into gambling. Because in the 19th century the word “casino” comes with the evolution that include other public establishment or building where there are gambling and sports that are going on.

In 1963 in Venice, Italy 'Ridotto' is the first European gambling house, although it is not called a casino. And by the year 1770, it was closed buy government.

And by the years goes by, casinos are getting into countries over countries. Having and attracting a huge amount of people to gamble and wager their money to win much more.

The real date on when casino is started is really unknown and don't know where it started. What we have now to enjoy is what the history is telling us. That casino is a continue progress and still are improving to get a lot variations and more exciting game to play.
